Just thinking again how Dems asked people to accept short-term suffering in order to give space to prevent long-term, worse suffering and then said, "Thanks for suffering in the short-term. You'll get to suffer long-term too so that our Thanksgiving plans don't get disrupted."

Very cool that Dems had all the leverage in the world after Tuesdays elections and they just decided to completely cave to nearly all the Republicans demands in exchange for what amounts to a pinky promise.
This “deal” dramatically hikes healthcare premiums and only exacerbates the affordability crisis. It should be rejected, as should any politics willing to compromise on the basic needs of working people.
