The @EU_Commission wants anything flagged as "terrorist" to be reviewed and removed within *an hour*. Theresa May wants it down within 1-2 hours *of being posted*, with legal penalties if platforms fail to remove. Think about the pressure that creates for snap judgments.
When humans make snap judgments, implicit bias plays a huge role. We rely on stereotypes about race, gender, etc. without even knowing it. The neuroscience on this is incredible btw. Check out Behave by Robert Sapolsky. Also try one of these tests implicit.harvard.edu.
