I'm not a fan of a "cartoony" style, I'm a student comics storytelling and utilizing the medium. I consider the work that we do, the real work, to be inside the reader's head, not on the page. I gravitate towards artists who feel that way & want to play with the comics language.

Gretchen Felker-Martin wasn't fired because of online discourse. She didn't get fired because of the quality of the comic she wrote. She got fired because she, as a trans woman, refused to show sympathy towards a fascist. That's what we need to focus on here.
