The documentary on Al Rosen is called "Beating the Odds,: The Al Rosen Story, A Bill Levy Film. It was supported by the Indians.


As BB writer, interviewed Al Rosen the day he was named AL MVP in late November 1953. Unanimously. A very gracious man.


Last saw Al Rosen in May,2013, when interviewing him for the doc. He was 89 and looked terrific. Sharp as a tack.


Sorry to hear of Al Rosen's passing. Had a terrific experience producing his life-story documentary in 2013. A terrific person.
