Today, Brady, Mr. Smith and Ngao shared their findings from their nearly two week trip to Kenya. The team is continuing to work on designing a filtration system here at @DavenportWest that they will eventually be able to implement. They plan to return to Kenya in Summer of 2021!

#DCSdistinct This past week, members of Mid City High’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes delivered books to Jefferson Elementary as part of their giving project. This is one of several service projects that FCA does throughout the year in our local community.
#DCSdistinct North High Boys Bowlers are 2019 State Champs! In addition to their team title, North senior Bryan Verdon won the individual 1st place title. West's girls placed 6th and Central's girls placed 7th. More details at: davenportschools.org/2019/02/22/nor…

My 13 year old daughter has talked for several years about how much she loved her 5th grade teacher. I asked her what she liked about her. Her response: “She liked US!” So simple… yet so profound. Kids gravitate to the teachers that like them. They can tell.
On Tues. Nov. 13th two of the people I love dearly will go into the hospital. Our selfless daughter, Jennifer, will donate her kidney to her father. Please keep us in your prayers! I will keep you informed of their progress.
