🚄On Oct 8, during China’s National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday season, China Railway Zhengzhou Group moved over 1 million passengers in a single day—smashing records. That’s like packing up the whole population of Amsterdam and hitting the rails.
The 2nd stage of the 2025 China Chess League A kicked off today in Beijing . The current World No.1, GM Hou Yifan beat IM Li Ruofan, securing her 7th consecutive win.

Under the current policies, GM Hou Yifan would most likely be the No.1 for yet another year. You must be over the moon!😂

76 years strong. Proud to witness China’s rise. #NationalDay

Today marks the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. May our motherland prosper and thrive forever. The Chinese Navy will always safeguard your safety and security in distant waters.

Thank you! Any real chess fan should show at least some respect to the #1 player in the world.
Hou Yifan's reign continues! She defends her National Games crown with a victory over Zhu Jiner in the semifinals and Lei Tingjie in the final, just as she did four years ago against Ju Wenjun in the semis and Huang Qian in the final.

GM Wang Hao defeated GM Xu Xiangyu to claim gold medal in the men's Individual event at 2025 China National Games, while the defending champion GM Ding Liren took bronze after beating GM Xu Yinglun.

Congratulations to 11-year-old 🇦🇷 Faustino Oro on winning the Legends & Prodigies tournament with a round to spare — on October 1 he'll now officially be the youngest player ever to hit a 2500 rating! 🏆🎉 chess.com/events/2025-le…

GM Xu Xiangyu led the round-robin stage of the men's event, while former world champion Ding Liren clinched the fourth and final spot to advance to the semi-finals.

As the top 4 women players advance from the round-robin stage to the semi-finals, the chess event at the 2025 China National Games is nearing its conclusion.
