The overprescription of antibiotics 💊💊and resulting resistance is a major global health concern. My partner @DrRainerTan’s research published in @NatureMedicine shows how a digital clinical support algorithm can result in an almost two fold reduction of antibiotic

Today across @MSF, we begin a campaign for an immediate ceasefire & an end to the indiscriminate attacks in #Gaza. It simply #MustStopNow. My letter to the @UN Security Council demanding a stop to the deadly attacks on Palestinian civilians👇msf.org/letter-gaza-un…

I’m in #Jenin, the West Bank, #Palestine, where I was just visiting the @MSF team at the Khalil Suleiman hospital. While we were there, the Israeli army conducted an incursion on Jenin refugee camp.

We urgently request that the Canadian Government do everything within its power to achieve an immediate ceasefire in #Gaza. Ending the indiscriminate violence is the only way to prevent more deaths and scale up desperately needed humanitarian assistance.

The bombing needs to stop NOW. As the president of a medical humanitarian organisation, I urge – implement an immediate ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid into #Gaza.

We are running out of words to describe this horror. Enough is enough.

"Doctors are distressed. They are calling us crying...by the horror they are seeing…This has to stop. We're operating on children without anesthetics. We don't have morphine for them." MSF's Leo Cans discussing Gaza on @cnni

We are horrified by news coming from Jabalia camp where high numbers of people have reportedly been killed by an Israeli airstrike. After the attack, many wounded people arrived to Al Shifa hospital where our teams helped to provide emergency medical care...
