Dan: Lily, do you know I'm going to be 40 years old this year? Lily: Wow. That is so old. Are you going to die soon? Dan: I don't think so. Lily: But you got a lot of gray hair. 😆
As I was putting Lily to bed and was about to sing her a song, she said, "no, no, no. Can we talk please?" She then proceeded to tell me her thoughts about the day and curious questions about our plans for the next day. Many more of these to come. Looking forward to it!

She asked me this week if she has to stop sucking her finger. Mommy and Pattima have asked her to stop because she's a big girl now. Makes me sad to think she's aware she's getting bigger and she's never going to be my finger sucking baby soon 😭
She really wants to do things by herself like putting her clothes on and gets frustrated when she can't. Her growing desire for independence is fascinating to see develop.
"I need privacy" - She started saying this about 6 months ago while 💩
"Mommy has boobs. Daddy doesn't have boobs. When Lily gets bigger and bigger and bigger she will have boobs!"
"I want to touch Lucy"-Lily, when she doesn't wanna do what we asked her to do so she thinks she can distract us by asking us to touch or see Lucy
Dad: Do you want a brother or sister? Lily: I want a brother AND a sister!
It's ok, Lucy. Just suck your fingers (while Lucy cries in the car seat next to Lily)
