We have a major incident on SBG2. The fire declared in the building. Firefighters were immediately on the scene but could not control the fire in SBG2. The whole site has been isolated which impacts all services in SGB1-4. We recommend to activate your Disaster Recovery Plan.

There’s lots of memories on that pictures. I’ve been lucky to fly as pax in one of those Mil Mi-8. And this exact Dash-8 is one of the first airplanes my best friend has flown as an FO, when he joined civil aviation in this exact outfit 👍👍
Just got word I WILL be doing the Yakutsk trip, but it’s delayed till mid-late Feb. Maybe it will warm up to -45 by then? 🤷🏻♂️ I’m thinking AUH or KUL will be where I’ll head in the next week or so.
