Listening to Katie Melua's Album No 8 : Your Longing Is Gone, Joy and Remind Me to Forget. She is back with at least 3 nice songs, to the level of her two first albums

Emotuned (2012 and 2013), who paved the way to Kontakt Hub (now Loot Audio), may respawn in a third iteration. Fees will be ways lower than what they are on LA.

From videos, new Roland RD-88 seems to sound thin (despite being based on ZenCore), with few dynamic and short sustain. I may keep my FP-7F (was priced twice), despite the new RD brings new generation action, modwheels and weights a half.

I like Roland's behaviour modeling (in SuperNatural acoustic) more than keyswitch-based samples libraries (just listen to Jupiter-80's Ehru compared to the one in Eastwest's Silk).

I really wonder whether Roland's Jupiter-80 sounded better than new Jupiter X/Xm. At least Jupiter-80 brought new synth sounds (VA), plus SN acoustic ones.

From youtube, Roland's Integra-7 sounds really thin, mudded and with no character (some said XV-5080 even sounded clearer, more open). Jupiter-80 however, despite from same era, seems to sound good, with fat synth pads (even if not real analog nor close to D50) and great Ehru.

XV-5050 sounded harsh, way less warm than JV-880, and it seemed it had some of high pass filter (it didn"t have low end). Using it with the digital output was the same, so it was due to the sound engine design. XV-5080 seemed to sound more open, clearer (better reverb).
