Check out this beautiful and important story of our own Juliana Fontecha's experience as a Colombian-American DACA student. lovefir.st/2GpkL1h

One of Lipscombs best! A light on campus and a blessing to all she interacted with.

"“Honestly, Lipscomb is everything that I wanted. I have teachers who remember my name and even pray for me. In Moldova, that would never happen. This community has become a home to me. Here, I met people who were willing to take the time to invest in me." lipscomb.edu/missions/archi…

I’m hopeful, family. If we believe it’s necessary and possible, if we face the truth about our history and respond with compassionate action, and if we think higher, love deeper and work together, we can create a more peaceful, just, humane world. I’m in. You?

MLK wasn’t popular with most Americans because he challenged the status quo and spoke truth to power. The only reason he’s not controversial now is that he hasn’t been able to speak for 50 years. Thank you Dr. King for pursuing justice and Jesus regardless of the repercussions.
