Just discovered the glow on the @sharptools_io dashboard to indicate whether a 💡 is on or off also mirrors the color of the bulb. Nice little touch! In this case, an IKEA Trådfri bulb connected to SmartThings.
Just got an email for a kickstarter straw. I thought it was April Fool’s. But I think maybe it’s just bad image placement because I don’t want a long straw to drink from my kitchen toilet.

I think you should take the @sylvania contact sensors - tie it into presence detection and just have Alexa read out compliments to her as she randomly opens and closes door, cupboards and windows in the house. Because - Why not? “You look great today” “Thanks for being you” etc.
We used @LIFX lights because they’re pretty darn powerful. Everything else in there from the smart outlets to motion sensors are @smartthings. Had bigger plans with @amazonecho but I forgot about having one Amazon account not on the same WiFi for #smarthome

I've looked at @Sonos, #airplay, @amazonecho, and it looks like I'll be going for a not so smart audio solution because I need multiple speakers playing music that is stored locally and playlists that can be edited on the fly. So bummed. #SmartHome @yamahaentertain
