Don’t be afraid of asking questions of God, thinking that Jesus won’t respect your questions. Because it isn’t your doubts that keep you from hearing from Jesus. Its your certainties, your agendas, the rules you've already laid down that you want Jesus to abide by.
Don't let anybody speak something to you that's different than what God is saying to you. Let your heart be tuned to God and His word.
As I listen to the “The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill” podcast, I see even more clearly the need for denominational oversight and connection.

The center of gravity for Christendom has already shifted and it's no longer the West. Yet, I get this feeling that the West still wants to dominate the space and that needs to end. The Church is global, diverse, and in need of global voices, not just Western ones.

How do we return to this?
The early church wasn’t known by a denominational affiliation, they weren’t known as conservative or liberal, Calvinist or Armenian, contemporary or traditional. They were known as followers of Jesus Christ and that was enough to change the world.
There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. There is no area of your life that you cannot open to Him. There is no sin too great. There is nothing that you've done that He will not forgive. Walk in that freedom!
