If you’re wearing a UNC hat or other UNC apparel in public and someone yells “Go Heels!” you should at the bare minimum acknowledge it. Especially outside of NC. Too many times I hit strangers with a “Go Heels!” and I get nothing. It’s embarrassing. Figure it out.
