I'm honored to be part of @EitanChitayat @NatieBranding's #HerWords campaign focused on amplifying the voices of women leaders. I share my main philosophy on #diversity & #inclusion work, “Collaboration > Competition. Rising tides lift all the boats!” natie.com/her-words/
There’s no better way to reflect on 2022 than through the books I consumed. Out of the 111 books (31,288 pages) I read, here are my top 11 recommendations. Happy #reading! linkedin.com/posts/laurenvo…
A great resource from @AnpuLondon on respecting people’s names! To add to the recommendations, I’m a big fan of adding your name pronunciation on your @LinkedIn profile so people can listen and learn to how you say your name without repeatedly asking you to teach them.
An educational resource I made for respecting ethnic names. I thought I’d create a shareable resource so that it can help people and empower.
Can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be than with the incredible @cgrantpickens @IBM & @jenniferbrown discussing how to lead inclusively through times of crisis. These calls are always great opportunities to embrace our DEI community and step forward in collective accountability ❤️
Feeling blessed to call London home after an amazing morning speaking about #Diversity #Inclusion at Houses of Parliament w/ committed changemakers @Oona_King @evanspiegel @Cilla4Talent @Snap @PwC @AspenInstitute launching the ACT Report to collaboratively progress equity in tech
Looks like my love for Botswana is contagious! Our hearts are full in Chobe today and always ❤️#ForbesUnder30AfricaSummit
“There are 300 million young people between the ages 15-25 on the African continent. We have to connect with them. We have to be where they are. We have to hear what they say. The future for Africa is exciting and beautiful.” -Dr Patrice Motsepe #ForbesUnder30AfricaSummit
Loving the #IWD2022 campaign from @CatalystInc, celebrating 60 years of #leadership driven and accelerated by empathy. An important concept and conversation, and one that @belindaparmar has always inspired me to prioritise. Here’s to empathy!❤️
Remember: IWD was founded in 1911 as International Working Women’s Day – a socialist, anti-racist celebration in honour of migrant women’s unionised struggles to escape terrible working conditions in garment factories. 100 years on, it's morphed into something very different.🧵
