Agile today: Learn a process in order to achieve success Agile as I learned it: Create a process from what we learn about how to succeed. Effective delivery isn't about following a process, it's about solving for what's needed for THESE people in THIS context as both change.
Farewell Twitter. It's been something to see/be part of, but I'm not sorry to leave this service behind. I actually like the idea of the smaller, more managed federated model anyway. I might even get into why at @logosity@discuss.systems Thanks everyone.
Merry Christmas @nflnetwork style: cut to commercial instead of showing the Franco Harris commemoration highlight reel, the LITERAL REASON the game is on tonight. Gotta get those commercial $$$ tho! utter fail.
Should I run Twitter ?

Not sure who needs to hear this, but if being “outcome focused” means your org is focused on how to ensure people are using your preferred product management tools, instead of, say realizing the value of the items being tracked, you might want to rethink that.
yes and also true for processes too!

Ok so I enjoy this joke a lot too, but the actual history behind this is a bit more complicated and honestly illuminating in its wackiness. Let's talk about Roman calendars! So why do the 'number months' (Sept-Dec) not correspond to their numbers (7-10)? 1/

One of the things in visual representations of the past, especially a 'fantastic' past (e.g. fantasy medieval Europe) is the tendency to skip over the period when mail was the dominant heavy armor, from roughly the second century BC to the 13th century AD. So let's talk mail. 1/
Ten years ago I stopped posting to this account because I was ready to move beyond Twitter. I think we've built something unique over at Micro.blog. An open platform based on blogs, community principles, that peers with Mastodon too. Made by people who love the web.
D&D but you play as the monsters. e.g. your party is a group of kobolds hanging out, minding your own business, when a party of goofballs on their way to loot caves near your houses, show up and start casting spells and shooting at your friends and whatnot. #doesThisExist
I don’t know who needs to hear this (yes I do) but abandoning this platform and not signing up for any further “social” media platforms ever again in your entire life is also an option.
Let’s say this was a newspaper vs Twitter. Someone buys the paper and says there are gonna be big changes in what we publish and we are not clear what those changes are going to be and when.. You still gonna run ads while it is happening or wait for it to be done?
Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.
If you’re into Chess at all and haven’t explored Dan’s teaching, you’re missing out!
Comment on my youtube.com/c/danheismanch… channel: "If NM Dan Heisman isn't among the best chess trainers on the planet tell me how he's written 12 (?) super successful titles. Legend. Can't wait until his YouTube channel gets discovered and the subscriber numbers go to the moon."
Received this at my grandmas funeral. What an icon.

Quality-first, narrow-scope and frequent iteration is the way to go, but if you’re gonna hurry, don’t hurry to get things done, hurry to get things right. Today’s urgency is yesterday’s expediency revisited.
