ratioing the leader of the opposition with just 20 likes is crazy

Idk, they approved a large conditional pay package last time and Tesla became a trillion dollar company. If musk makes it worth 5 trillion and gets a 30% stake, so it goes.

Part of Britain's problem is that it has left and right-wing parties that are unwilling to repeal the worst parts of each other's agenda. Labour won't touch the triple lock, two-child cap, or Brexit; the Tories won't touch overregulation.
Another symptom of Britain not having a sane centre-right is that there is no party I can vote for that will bring an end to this nonsense.
Yup. The "social value" nonsense in contracting was a Cameron era policy.
It's worse than that. They *implement* the worst parts of each other's agenda. A lot of what gets blamed on Thatcher was done by Blair, and a lot of what gets blamed on Blair was done by Cameron.
โYeah so basically my ideology is raising taxes on people working here to pay for BMWs for people with anxietyโ
i promise you they do not. russian z is not a thing here. americans are not familiar with the nuances of the war in ukraine or russian imperialism. they know of putin and the war.
I donยดt know? The same crowd would want to crucify someone for equally accidental use of equally dodgy American symbols The combo of orange and "Z" is a few steps too far to me. They get far too similar St. Georgeยดs ribbon-Zยดs the russians love to use
russia Z symbology isnโt really that well known to anyone in the states who isnโt closely following the war in ukraine, which would be like 99% of americans. itโs an unfortunate overlap but itโs not really significant given vastly different political contexts
Not gonna lie - itยดs a bit depressing to see politically engaged people be clueless enough to pick an orange Z as a symbol in 2025
Fair quip, although Zealandia is not exactly where we settled. The settlers named it New Zealand (Niu Tireni) when they forged a nation as Maori ceded to the British crown. You should probably try and learn some NZ history.
Loving the joined up comms strategy of blowing the legs off your own budget.
NEW: Labour deputy leader Lucy Powell MP tells me @bbc5live the party should stand by it's promises not to raiseย income tax, national insurance and VAT in the Budget. She said "We should be following through on our manifesto, of course. There's no question about that." She wentโฆ

I will take the L for one reason to be fair. I think prescriptivists are fucking morons, and my knee jerk response was prescriptivist.
