there’s no way llms (or what you call ai) can reason or be conscious or sentient. it only mimics based on statistical patterns.

Issue with “/compact” is it’s hard to get right. It shouldn’t be a case of compacting context, but rather a handoff. I find myself onboarding the agent after a compaction almost every single time. This solves it.
