I decided that retirement was boring and have joined the Developer Division at Microsoft. To do what? Too many options to say! But it’ll make using Python better for sure (and not just on Windows :-). There’s lots of open source here. Watch this space.
Remember not to compare yourself to other developers, especially on social media, youtube, etc. You are seeing the best of them. You don't see their struggles, however you do see all of your own

Work your ass off, but work SMART. It is one of the biggest lessons that I have learned. Pace yourself and don't make your job your entire life. Your health, family, hobbies and other important things will take a back seat and you will probably regret it

I like PHP. I always have and I'm not ashamed of it 🙂 If you like PHP and want to learn it, don't listen to the people that hate on it. It has just become the cool thing to do in the nerd world. Many of them have never actually worked with it
