10.7 million people across the #LakeChad region in need of humanitarian assistance. 2.3 million people across the region are displaced. Over 5 million are struggling to access enough food to survive. Half a million children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
We must be ready to achieve peace if we must attain sustainable development goals. The shrinking of Lake Chad affect women and their children. Leading to armed conflict as seen in Boko-haram crises, farmer-herdsmen clashes & others. As a peace agent, I am ready to #LeadClimate.
