LUCA RILEY FINISHES 3rd IN THE STATE!
HS mid-season update: Summer work is paying off. 24-0 with 3 Tourn titles and 5 top four wins including previous class 4 #1, #2 and class 1 #1. Currently ranked Class 4 #1 182 via rankwrestlers.com and missouriwrestling.com
Had a really good Spring and Summer with wrestling, working out, & speed/agility training. All six losses were to Fargo AAs. In duals, I beat Keegan Sell (OH), a FS AA, 14-4. Had lead on GR runner-up late, but a 4 was overturned to a stepout.
End goal for offseason was AA at Fargo. Lost in FS to 2 AAs. In Greco, won my 1st 3 to make qtrs. Lost in qtrs. Made blood round and thought I would cross bracket to a kid I beat at Duals but didn't. Got the 1st 2/TD, but down 8-5 went for it at end. Gave up the 4 & lost 12-5.
2021 off-season update. Won Cadet FS and Greco State titles to make national dual team. Went 9-2 @ Nat Duals. Undefeated in greco to make All-Tourn Team.
