Earlier this year a report by WGC researchers (bit.ly/3qPVHvo) found that under a fully devolved system, Wales could have received an extra £514m investment in its rail infrastructure between 2011-12 and 2019-20.
Loss of eastern leg of HS2 will still see £100m investment in rail in the Midlands and N of England. As rail investment not Barnetised, like for Scotland NI, Wales again at the bottom of the investment league table despite having 10% of UK rail network.
