This figure shows the risk of bleeding by location and VEGFi status. Caveats are that this was delivered with highly conformal SABR and motion management. Still unclear what the optimal RT regimen is for ultracentral or if there is a safe washout period after VEGFi
A new study in the JTO from the Thoracic Rad Onc team demonstrates evidence of combined toxicity in patients receiving SABR and VEGF inhibitors. Toxicity is predominately observed in patients with ultra-central tumors. Link to study: authors.elsevier.com/a/1h41T_ZOPrsI…

This morning I had a P2P with @evicorehc to discuss a treatment that is supported by NCCN guidelines. The consulting MD never called and now we have to find a new time that works for them. Its frustrating to have so many barriers to advocate for your patient.

Everyone depends on the USPS. Seniors for their Social Security, veterans for their prescriptions, small businesses trying to keep their doors open. They can't be collateral damage for an administration more concerned with suppressing the vote than suppressing a virus.
Great work Abhishek! I'm excited to see what you will do at @DukeRadOnc
Trying for the 1st time to tweet my research, so here it goes...*deep breath* Virtual #ASCO20 poster evaluating the cost-effectiveness of #SABR in oligometastatic cancer using SABR-COMET published data. TL;DR SABR very cost-effective under wide range of assumptions. @UCSDRadMed
I was ‘catfished’ today. And by that I mean an unknown number from my hometown area code sent me a picture of a giant catfish they caught.
