Let your desire to help someone through your story be stronger than your reluctance to share your journey.
Just remember, everything works. So pick the route that interests you. Not the one other people are telling you to do.
One of the biggest lies agents tell themselves is that they can “do it themselves.” Listen, if you haven’t started that email or social or blog yet, maybe you should hire it out. Is that really the best use of your time and energy?
It’s not your clients job to remember you. It’s your job to remind them.
Me: don’t post just listed, under contract, and open houses on your social media. Nobody cares. Every Realtor: but don’t I need to prove to people I’m busy? Me: do you really think people care how busy you are? And lezbehonest, y’all do plenty of bragging as it is.
Imagine if your financial advisor emailed you from “[email protected]”... that would be pretty unprofessional, right? So why do Realtors think it’s totally ok?
