Interesting choice for Xie Lian to say “我承诺，永安的人，永不得安！” He says 承诺 (promise) instead of 发誓 (swear/vow), which has a more binding and spiritual context. To me it's a sign that Calamity!Lian still isn't fully committed to his plan for revenge.

Xie Lian gets shy about love bites being visible. He does not mind the possessiveness of it (he even likes it), but the pointed stares can be a bit much. That is why he prefers Hua Cheng to leave all his marks on his thighs instead where only they get to appreciate them 🫶
