I don't have enough words to describe how I felt reading this. I miss unapologetic genuineness and artistic integrity. These are things that I can't really find in most official Sonic media nowadays. Gameplay and style attracted me, but I stayed a fan because of the characters.

its always important to remember that cps games dont have square pixels and the pixel art is drawn to accommodate the stretching/squashing on arcade monitors. If the sprites look too short or wide then you're not seeing them in their intended aspect ratio
