The room was indeed scanned beforehand :) But it would be possible without that! By baking the texture into the live World Mesh in Lens Studio. That would be complex to set up though

This is insane, really cool build Max. 😍. You mention Metascan3D, does this mean the virtual double is a baked model only or does this work with a realtime LiDAR scan as well?
AR is future no doubt. endless opportunity for growth. The bad thing thing is we will be walking down street with glasses and mapped places will have objects, games,& sadly ads to interact with.
That's just awesome! Now I have to go play the game (again).

Now make mirrors in the house that instead show your avatar when you look in them :D
I understand you cant go through it but there are other options. A puzzle game for example, or a shooter where you can shoot through the portals. I could see this working as a game, just not like portal :) would be pretty awesome...
I love how the things warp around and the light that impacts the surface!
