Idk who needs to hear this but detachment doesn't mean to cut them off. It's about removing your expectations and fully embracing their presence without any strings attached. You'll know you're detached when you can fully enjoy their presence without fearing their absence.
Every delay has a purpose, every unanswered prayer leads you toward something greater than your limited mind can comprehend. Every closed door is a redirection towards something better. What’s yours will reach you, and when it does, you’ll realize it always meant to be this way
So it turns out the situation that you fear the most, eventually you face it.
