75. Love & Money: How to Talk About Big Decisions Together
Thank you @abbydavisson for sharing your voice and your thoughtful approach with the world. If you can’t remember the last time you had a good day at work, its time to ask why!
Sometimes it can make sense to talk publicly about a very private decision. I hope @RachelFeintzeig’s piece for @WSJ inspires more people to undertake the self-reflection and financial calculations required to take big career leaps. #MoneyLoveBook #BigDecisionGuide
I’m looking forward to being in conversation with @dorieclark for this last @Newsweek interview of 2022!
Join me tomorrow for my last @Newsweek interview of the year! I'll be talking with Myra Strober & @abbydavisson about their new book Money & Love, and how to create a roadmap for your life - RSVP here: dorieclark.com/better

And finally, yay for developers who don't just look at public health policy after they've built their thing & want to know what the billing code is, but rather look at the big, expensive, deadly problems & work backwards from there.
There are several true* statements which make sepsis frustrating: 1. For Medicaid, it's only after childbirth as most expensive hospitalization cause 2. It's deadly. We are all focused on maternal mortality & we have something concrete we can do. 3. Technology *works* on sepsis
(buckle up, sepsis thread) This is pretty amazing of @CollectiveMed as I really, really think we, the Health IT community, could be doing *way* more for sepsis: Collective Medical Launches Nationwide Functionality to Identify Sepsis Survivors in Real-time businesswire.com/news/home/2020…
Proud to be working at a company that is focused on needs that matter and is doing the right thing for the right reasons! #sepsissucks
