Rest in power, Brendan 'Bik' McFarlane, who fought all his life against British colonialism and for Irish freedom. He was commander of the IRA prisoners in Maze during the 1981 hunger strike, and led the mass break-out of 38 Republican prisoners in 1983. His memory lives forever.
