I wrote a blog post that describe an easy way to insert geochemical notations in MS Word! adtma.pw/blog/delta-not… #Geology #geochemistry
This new image, from the Icelandic Coast Guard, is nothing short of hadean: the new eruption fissure, about four kilometres long, painting the frosted ground with the planet’s newest coat of magmatic paint. Blimey. I really hope Grindavík avoids the worst…

A point I and many others (e.g. @NaomiOreskes) have made is that the focus on individual action alone has been used by polluters to deflect attention from the need for regulatory/systemic solutions (usatoday.com/story/opinion/…). We need BOTH of course!
Are you a PhD who loves stable isotopes, hands-on lab work, teaching & mentoring? We're hiring a Research Assistant Prof to be our next colleague @NU_EARTHSCI. My students and I can't wait to work with you on lots of fun paleoclimate research! 1/2 (Please RT)
