OK, deciding to take a break from Twitter and nuking it from my devices on Weds night was a mistake. You’re my tribe. <3

Graeme’s funeral arrangements, thank you for all the support over the past few days. facebook.com/mathie/posts/1…

To those I have been unable to tell personally I regret to inform you of Graeme’s passing. Details here justgiving.com/fundraising/La… @lauramathie

(I have backups — so it’s not the end of the world — but they’re currently somewhat inaccessible…)

Does it normally take @dropbox >3 days to respond to “oh, shit, I accidentally deleted all my files!” type requests? Still no reply…

I don't think there's anything preventing that at the moment. Most things should be built on Ruby's sockets, which will do IPv6.

it's all done.

I’d really appreciate retweets of this, such that it’s likely to get to the eyeballs of people who might say yes!

Is anyone deploying Ruby on Rails on IPv6? Is it possible? Viable? What would be needed to make it happen? (Can I help, please?!)

When I take over the world of configuration management, it’s going to be with a single, statically compiled, binary! Go or Swift, though? :)

What is it about configuration management systems and unwieldy dependencies, leading to complex, fragile bootstrapping requirements?!

I couldn’t make the prerequisites for `brew install ansible` fit on my screen (not even counting python itself).

The trouble with being an indie developer (and the added complications of the past few years) means I’m not sure who to ask for a reference…

I need two professional or academic references in order to apply for an MSc. Any volunteers? (Seriously!)

Have you seen this, @lauramathie? Shiny!

What a brilliant concept! I’m *always* failing to ask for help. I’m going to try time boxing. Will you help me? 😀

Config management distracted me from sleep last night, invaded my eventual dreams, and lingers on this morning! medium.com/morning-pages/…

I suppose that’s much harder to build a decent community around, since everybody’s needs are different. (Ah, insomnia!)
