The most gut-wrenching part of the last 2 years is definitely the lost lives, but as a young person, it feels even more demoralizing because we have learned so few lessons. We coukd have restructured our entire world and our relationships with each other, and we didn’t do it.
Instead of being for “sensible gun laws” I’m actually now completely against guns. Just get rid of them. All of them. Lives are more important.

School shootings are not fucking acts of nature, like hurricanes and tornadoes. They're man-made acts of inaction, of cowardice, of corruption by all lawmakers who refuse to pass laws PROVEN BY DATA to stop preventable, senseless shootings like in Uvalde.
Reminder that when union density is high, nonunion workers also benefit. Unions effectively set standards — including higher wages and better benefits — which nonunion employers must then meet. Unions are good for all workers.
