It has become abundantly clear that the TDSB is dysfunctional. @TDSBDirector has been consistently unaccountable and unresponsive to the community. I welcome Minister @PaulCalandra’s appointment of a provincial supervisor to bring the board back on track.…
To the Jews... 🧵 Here's a thought for the day. I'm an historian. And a humanitarian. And a Jew. I was also quite naive in the sense that I genuinely believed *most* people would not stand by in silence, or worse, participate in acts of Jew hatred on the streets of Britain. /1
I will never, ever forget every last animal in this country who defended Hamas and provided them comfort. MPs, union leaders, professors, journalists. A decent society would treat them like the barbaric reprobates they are.

Just received a notification from a journal an unfortunate rejection of our paper. The reason? Not being able to find reviewers to review the paper. Maybe it’s not that no one was interested in the paper, but uninterested in providing free labor for a billion dollar industry?

In their publication, Watso and colleagues tested the hypothesis that exercise training improves pulmonary function and ventilatory responses during exercise in adults with well-healed burn injuries. Read more here: fal.cn/3y0jJ

#OnThisDay in 1860 John Scott Haldane was born. He was a Scottish physiologist and philosopher of science whose extensive work on human respiration included the effects of pulmonary diseases. He was known for experimentation on himself including breathing potential lethal gases!

Year/Month/Day makes sense because it narrows down from large time unit to small. Day/Month/Year makes sense because it broadens out from small time unit to large. The US convention, Month/Day/Year, makes no sense at all, is indefensible, and should be abandoned.
Great paper
