Yes I have reduced the creative and group work components due to distancing and contact tracing concerns, but I need to get more creative and get the interaction level between peers up. My classroon is quiet...too quiet... #flipclasschat
A2: I shifted schools at the begining of the pandemic but I have had to reel in some of the more asynchronous parts, and provide more restrictive but more clear directions and expectations. I also feel I have regressed to re-teaching inclass some elements #flipclasschat

A1: I see some of the same motivation issues and lack of perserverence in school work from some students, but in other students I also see the empathy you mention Tara and an increase in emotional needs manifesting as anxiety and detachment. #flipclasschat
Exactly, the argument for finals is that they need big tests to prepare for the next education level, but then we spend a week preparing them for that test, which is NEVER done in college Just use the instruction time in a year we are trying to firm up foundations #flipclasschat

Up early this AM went to find a bench to see the sun rise Highly recommended My bench was on the edge of a park for children, life & vitality The cemetery on its border is a record of lives & place of rest We are never far from either. Today is a beautiful day to be alive Enjoy!
Finally got the last peice of the bathroom remodel done! A marble shelf above the wife's fancy tub. Shhhh... No one tell her the marble if from behind the urinals of an old hotel.
I am not even a science-y (technical term) but that is actually a great visual explaination.
I got in my son's car to move it and this inflated... The "auto-pilot" is just disconcerting.
