SpaceX has secured permission to gradually replace first-generation Starlink satellites with larger spacecraft designed to provide more broadband capacity.

Indeed that would be >$1B in insurance claims that will certainly drive insurance premiums for the GEO industry. Insurers will be the next to discover the benefit of the distributed nature of LEO constellations which results in wider risk distribution.
