We need to focus on the actual audience of VR and stop chasing 35 year old professionals. We have already won a unwinnable generation

VR is keeping the attention of the audience with no attention span.



Our team worked incredibly hard on Transform sync. Under the hood RealtimeTransform is more advanced than anything else on the market.

One thing Normcore does better than nearly any other networking solution I've tried in Unity is making rigidbodies feel synced across the network. For our upcoming "Blob Bash" mode in BlobTown, this is huge - players can clash with their homemade weapons and shields satisfyingly

We have lift (off)! Combining the new physical properties, along with the aerodynamic drag system from earlier this year, you can achieve lift with a propeller, made entirely in-game with Blobs in Blobtown :) 🚁🚁

Last year we built real-time, collaborative editing between browser <> Meta Quest using @unity, @normcore_io and React Unity WebGL. Not my best but at least my most complex

I used to merely dislike VR hand tracking but after a couple of years of being told it's the one true way, I now loath it.


This is a big reason why I think headsets will require controllers for a very long time. You won't need controllers all of the time, but shipping with no controller option makes a headset dead on arrival for me.
