Every once in a while I log back in to twitter. I see a few notifications, a few conversations, a few new followers. Wonder if I’ll stick around this time. Any thoughts out there on why twitter is a good place to be?

We will post about our grief about residential schools, we will post about our expectation that government do something about lack of clean water on First Nations, about scanning former school sites for unmarked graves, etc but how will we vote? Ask your candidates about it.

Really enjoyed being back preaching after 3 weeks of vacation. Here’s today’s message on how The Good Samaritan is still a radical call to love people we would would usually despise, avoid, or disagree with. youtu.be/FyLrKVPzqy8

This is quite the rabbit hole, but yeah - someone should make this into another Greenland-ish, Armageddon-ish movie. "How can we stop the moon from spiralling toward us?"

Realizing that God is sending you is one thing. Knowing where to go, what to do, and then actually getting a move on can be much more complicated. #letgodsend #letgod letgodsend.com

Been thinking about wildfires and smoke in North America. This tool helps you see all the effected areas: firesmoke.ca/forecasts/curr… Praying today for evacuated communities.

I'm thinking about giving up self doubt for lent. (But maybe not) let me overthink this for a bit. #lent

WOW - This episode of #SpiritualityForOrdinaryPeople was so fun to record. Such a thoughtful conversation about Labyrinths and how they help us see deeper into our lives. spiritualityforordinarypeople.com/labyrinth/

Been watching the @Raptors since they first came into the league. Now a championship! #wethenorth

#pccga2019 passed motions repudiating the doctrine of discovery. While there has been very painful division at the Assembly, there has been near unanimous support for Indigenous rights and Indigenous Ministries.

Going silent today as we pray, reflect and debate some heavy stuff @PCConnect #PCCGA2019. This is the work of this body called, commissioned and sent to this Assembly. It isn’t a spectator sport. #LoveWins

Rev. Mary Fontaine, an indigenous woman, and leader of Hummingbird Ministries, preaches at our opening worship today. Very thankful for her leadership and teaching. #pccga2019

About to mark the 25th anniversary of the PCCs confession to Indigenous people. I was there in 1994 and I had no real clue what I was witnessing then. Today I am thankful for my indigenous brothers and sisters teaching me. #pccga2019

Outgoing moderators sermon is on peace in relationships. Quotes Collective Soul and Henri Nouwen #pccga2019

So tragic. Thousands of missing indigenous women. This is not “old history.” This is in the last couple decades. - Inquiry into missing Indigenous women and girls hasn’t yet solved their deaths and disappearances - The Star apple.news/AIEf5nQmVS9CtP…

It might be time to dust of the twitter machine. #pccga2019 starts tomorrow.

It was so great to visit my daughter’s school! All the kids were great. So attentive and engaged!
