Marlins news: Former #STLCards outfielder Jon Jay is joining Skip Schumaker’s coaching staff as the team’s first-base and outfield coach, according to a source. Jay is a Miami native and won a WS title with Schumaker and the Cardinals in 2011.

This is unacceptable. We now need to know more about @RobinhoodApp’s decision to block retail investors from purchasing stock while hedge funds are freely able to trade the stock as they see fit. As a member of the Financial Services Cmte, I’d support a hearing if necessary.
More than half of all Robinhood users own at least some GameStop stock. They are now unable to freely trade it; the app is only allowing users to close out their positions. vice.com/en/article/m7a…
Inquiries into freezes should not be limited solely to Robinhood. This is a serious matter. Committee investigators should examine any retail services freezing stock purchases in the course of potential investigations - especially those allowing sales, but freezing purchases.

Biden is on track to receive 7 million more votes than Trump, one of the biggest gaps in recent history. The Electoral College system means Trump can try to (fruitlessly) fight over slim margins in a handful of states. But it's a substantial loss, no matter how you spin it.
