I also received a very interesting response to a FOI last night regarding #footballindex that I need to leverage with the right people! Loads still going on behind the scenes.
Took a bit longer than I envisaged but my Ombudsman Complaint about Treasury and Ministers has now been submitted & received. Another step in the process in obtaining justice for #footballindex victims!!
I have attended many calls with devastated #footballindex victims many of which ended in tears when I asked them to recount their experiences to their MPs. I was present when a brave victim, who had got divorced as a result of having his hard earned savings scammed by a regulated
Very quick update from me on #footballindex I have a plan now I just need to wait for a response (or not based on previous experience) from Treasury then I will act. Been really busy with work etc recently hence a lack of action but I have a couple more weeks before I can act!

Odd to see the Gambling Commission hyperactively engaged in MP betting cases, some which seem a bit tenuous. I've contacted them dozens of times reporting stories like this one, and the Football Index scandal, and never found a public body to be less helpful or interested.
