Ukrainian “FP-2” long-range strike UAVs have been armed with “OFAB-100-119-TU” aerial bombs without the tail fin as a warhead. This is a HE-fragmentation bomb with the powerful explosive TG-50, a 50/50 mixture of TNT and hexogen. 1/
The Ukrainian SBU is using FP-2 medium-range strike UAV against targets in occupied Ukraine and (according to the Russians) near Belgorod in Russia. The FP-2 is derived from the FP-1 long-range UAV, but has a larger 105 kg warhead that results in massive damage to the targets.
With the huge numbers of FPVs expended every day, electric detonators are becoming scarce. Here a Russian painstakingly removes the primer from the mechanical detonator of a UZRG-M grenade fuze. This allows an electric match to be inserted, creating an ersatz electric detonator.
A Russian demonstrates how not to remove the pyrotechnic delay from a detonator from a UZRG-M hand grenade fuze. He’s either joking, or he doesn’t really care if he keeps all of his fingers. The image shows a rational approach.
A Russian FPV incendiary warhead is assembled using a length of solid rocket fuel scavenged from Grad 122 mm rockets. The fuel is ignited by an electric match paired with the modified mechanical detonator from a UZRG-M grenade fuze, as shown in the quote tweet. 1/

A new Ukrainian pressure-plate improvised blast landmine with PVV-7 explosive and an EDP-r electric detonator. Foil surfaces are separated by a non-conductive foam gasket. Stepping on the device compresses the foam so that the foil surfaces contact to close an electric circuit.
A Ukrainian improvised anti-personnel landmine is called “Heavenly Punishment” (Небесна кара). Under pressure the printed cover flexes, and the screws contact a conductive plate. This closes a battery powered circuit, igniting an electric match to initiate the plastic explosive.
Another Ukrainian anti-vehicle improvised landmine uses PMN-4 anti-personnel landmine components as a pressure-activated initiator. A neatly folded metal container is packed with about 800 g of PVV-7 explosive, plenty to destroy motorcycles and light vehicles.
A Russian anti-vehicle improvised landmine for drone dropping has a wire mesh frame stuffed with PVV-7 explosive. A PMN-4 anti-personnel landmine serves as the initiator. A tether tying the landmine arming ripcord to the drone starts the arming delay when the device is dropped.
A Ukrainian PTM-L1 shaped-charge anti-vehicle landmine is prepared for dropping from a drone. The integrity of the arming delay is tested with an electric match before installing the electronic “Jonik” magnetic-influence fuze.
The PTM-1L is a Ukrainian shaped-charged EFP (Explosively Formed Projectile) magnetic-influence landmine for dropping by drones. Earlier prototypes have been occasionally seen, but apparently the design has been finalized and is in production. 1/
A Ukrainian soldier shows a battlefield so littered with spent shell casings the ground is no longer visible.
The Russian “KZD-100” is a shaped-charge EFP munition first seen in 2024. Derived from the KZ series of EFP demolition charges, it is intended as an off-route anti-vehicle device similar in function to the Russian TM-83 landmine.
The Russian TM-83 is an off-route anti-tank mine designed to damage or destroy vehicles with a shaped-charge EFP (Explosively Formed Projectile). An infrared sensor detects when a beam from an infrared lamp is interrupted by a passing tank. Battery life is about 30 days. 1/2
Backpack line charges for clearing landmines are normally deployed by small rockets. In this short clip a Chinese drone has been adapted for this task. 1/

Cross sections of Ukrainian “YBN” and “UYA” FPV warheads. Both warheads have shaped-charge EFP (Explosively Formed Projectile) designs with steel ball fragmentation elements. 1/
The Ukrainian “YBN-110” (УБН-110) is an EFP shaped-charge fragmentation impact FPV munition. A larger version of the UYA-95 in the quote, steel balls have been added as directional fragmentation elements. The explosive charge is 1.5kg, increased from 0.9kg. 1/
A drone-dropped Ukrainian “K2” improvised anti-personnel landmine has perfectly deployed its four 10-meter-long tripwire sensors. And apparently dropped with it as irresistible bait are Russian banknotes in 500, 1000, and 5000 ruble denominations.
Ukrainian volunteer units make a complex improvised mine for dropping from heavy drones, inspired by the POM-2 mine. Called “K2” or “POM-110” by the Russians, it has intricate printed parts, with spring-loaded tripwires connected to an electric fuze. 1/1

A total disassembly of the main charge of the PG-7VR tandem shaped-charge rocket. The explosive lens (also known as a wave shaper) is an inert block that forces the blast wave to travel around the edges before focusing into a conical wave instead of a spherical wave. 1/
Ukrainian heavy drones have switched from vertical to horizontal mounts for holding 3 o 4 bombs. Here a downed heavy quadcopter had 3 PG-7R shaped-charge warheads from tandem PG-7VR rockets. A “Jonik-M” (Jonni-M) impact fuze connects to an electric detonator in the warhead base.
A Russian plays a joke on the conscripts during the disassembly of a KPOM-2 cassette to retrieve POM-2 anti-personnel landmines for dropping from drones. He deliberately drops one, causing panic. Too bad there was no chance of explosion.
A Russian removes four POM-2 tripwire anti-personnel landmines from a KPOM-2 dispenser, for dropping individually from drones. The KPOM-2 is dispensed from ground or airborne launchers, and has a pyrotechnic delay that disperses the landmines and initiates the arming sequence.

🇮🇷 #Iran - 🇮🇱 #Israel: An interesting event took place during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, where a thief broke into a conspirative house in Tehran which was being used by Mossad agents as a drone workshop. Reports say the thief then called the police, admitting he…
A simple new Russian electronic impact fuze is armed at drone launch when a safety is pulled out, with no arming delay. An electric match seen here or an electric detonator are initiated at impact.
A Russian demonstrates a new SBMBCh (Сбмбч) electronic FPV fuze. Similar to Ukrainian fuzes, it apparently has both remote detonation for air burst, and a “whisker” wire contactor for impact detonation. t.me/gortenziyafpv/…
This Russian says to unscrew the striker screw to disarm the Ukrainian “Gingerbread” improvised anti-personnel landmine. If his comrades follow this advice it will likely push the screw into the primer as the thin printed casing flexes, and blow both their hands off.
A Russian examines a broken Ukrainian “Gingerbread” drone-dropped improvised anti-personnel landmine. When stepped on the printed shell compresses, driving a screw into a primer capsule and exploding the 30g of C4 or similar explosive. He warns they are hard to see in the grass.
