The office was in Wagoner County near the town of Okay, celebrating the launch of a $1.5 million broadband expansion project. Lake Region Technology and Communications will be connecting local homes and businesses via fiber optic technology.

Director Sanders was honored to address @okfarmbureau at its 84th annual meeting. A lifelong farm bureau member, Sanders highlighted the ongoing work being done by the Oklahoma Broadband Office and Governing Board to bring Oklahoma’s unserved areas online.

A little rain can’t dampen the progress being made to expand internet access to rural Oklahoma! The office was in Welch today, celebrating the launch of two projects totaling $5.4 million that will connect 337 homes and businesses.
