Mediocre SEC.
Auburn was about to go up 17-0 and now it’s 10-10. Unfathomable fumble.
Husker players all came back out to celebrate with the fans.
The SEC is so average and it’s going to be talked about like they’re all amazing instead of varying shades of mediocre.
Well after the game here and I still cannot believe the catch Heinrich Haarberg made on this throw. A year ago he was playing quarterback like he has his entire life. Now he's hauling in tough catches along the sidelines in critical situations. Impressive stuff.
That was a terrific throw. An even better catch. Nebraska inside the 5.
Narratives Nebraska has destroyed this season: - Can't make a defensive play to get off the field to end a game. ✅ - Special teams is an endless disaster until proven otherwise ✅ - Can’t drive the field while trailing and finish with a go-ahead touchdown ✅ Still 6 games left.
Never a doubt, right? Nebraska survives a mess of its own creation with last second touchdown to beat Maryland. 247sports.com/college/nebras…
If all that really matters this season is stacking wins then bank this one and hope the team starts to iron out these middle of the game mistakes.

Closest I've seen a Nebraska running back have an Ameer Abdullah "I'm taking this over with you or without" in regards to blocking type game.
I’m operating on that being a wrong route for now, but it sure looked like the receiver at the top of the screen was open. Can’t tell for sure on television though.
Nebraska’s special teams is giving this team plenty of chances to work through its many mistakes.
I’ll say this for 2025 Nebraska football - they absolutely respond every time a previous version might turtle and come up short. Lots of mistakes but then you see the fight usually followed by strong execution.
Who knew a screen to Nyziah Hunter is an offensive cheat code?
Nebraska has turned it over on downs in opponents territory in every game this season.
Think Illinois and its fans have reasons to be unhappy with the lack of a flag on that end zone throw.
Brendan Sorsby and Aidan Chiles shredding defenses at the same time.
