We shouldn't be using poor prompts, being provocative. We should be conversational. @DonaldClark is pushing the limits with ChatGPT and says it's very very good! #LT23UK
Next question: ethics. Some say proceed with caution. Others say stop for 6 months (or slow down). Others say STOP! ChatGPT4 won't kill anyone any time soon, however. #LT23UK
What about regulation? Regulators are trying to take time to work this out, speaking to specialists/experts in different areas. We need to allow space for innovation. #LT23UK

Case study DuoLingo: they've used AI for years but are moving to dialogue. Spaced practice has cut the forgetting rate dramatically. Also used as performance support tool. #LT23UK
AI is the new UI, says @DonaldClark. Engagement is not learning. We can't keep relying on the old tools like Storyline... #LT23UK
ChatGPT can also help with accessibility, providing a personalised teacher for someone with dyslexia, for example. #LT23UK
