Had an unfortunate misshap travelling today as I was sure my hotel was in "Asakusa"when in reality it was "Akasaka". Didn't notice until I arrived. Here's hoping I don't make any further mistakes on the rest of my trip haha.#JILC2019
Being in capsule hotel is an interesting experience and i like it thus far as it gives a greater sense of privacy compared to a normal hostel. I heard that these hotels are favoured by Japanese businessmen who would often have to visit a prefecture for a single night.#JILC2019
I was amazed at not only the skill of some of the rhythm game players but also how many skilled ones were in at any one time at the arcades in Akihabara. Im fairly rhythmically challenged myself. #JILC2019

I love that Japan puts thought into even the smallest of things. Like brackets for keeping the handles on the train properly spaced or train displays telling you the position of your car compared to the station stairs. #JILC2019
Although i didn't fully understand the kabuki performance's story i found it really interesting how precise and controlled the actor's movements were. Especially the puppeteer portion.#JILC2019
Surprisingly i haven't found as many body altertering products as would have expected in Japan. Mind you, i haven't been doing much shopping. I wonder where these kinds of trends originate from. #JILC2019
Great to see such excellent service with affordability of glasses. Most of the companies in north America are all conglomerates so they drive up the prices for something that is so essential to so many people.#JILC2019
Another thing i found interesting during the open air museum was that merchants would go to houses and purchase excrement for fertilizer or gun powder production. #JILC2019
I found it quite impressive how solid the construction of the rooves on these houses were despite being made of straw and hemp. It was also surprisibg that their design also happens to be earthquake resistant. #JILC2019
This commemoration to caring for growing children and children's spirits at the Zojoji temple was both heart warming and somber. #JILC2019
The Sumidagawa river was a great place to go on a boat ride. I was surprised that more people do not commute by boat; But then, with how extensive and efficient the rail service is i suppose there's no competition. #JILC2019

Visited the Taro Okamoto museum/art gallery this afternoon. Truely a very interesting life he lived. Although not all of his creations spoke to me personally, his use of colour, and skill for photography are undeniable. #JILC2019

Found this neat ship made of shells on the path to Hetsunomiya shrine. I like that they even used them for the sail.#JILC2019
I found this mural of mt. Fuji in Ikehabara today called "Edo's Four Seasons". It seems similar is style to this one i saw in Yokohama.#JILC2019
Interesting karate demonstration from Okinawa practitioners at sinshine city mall in ikebukuro. I believe that karate originated in Okinawa but i could be wrong. #JILC2019
I really appreciated the horticultural efforts put into the garden around the tea house. It complemented the atmosphere well i thought.#JILC2019
