Hundreds of paintings, sculptures, stained-glass windows and other works of exceptional public art await discovery in the Missouri statehouse, a building that unquestionably is part art museum.
@Ceres_MO-watching is an important part of our work day here on the 11th floor of the Jefferson Building. Glad I can keep tabs on her even when I’m traveling for work.

A thoroughly eye-opening wine seminar by @RiedelUSA in the House Lounge engaged all the senses. Ticket proceeds went toward preservation and restoration of capitol art, like these stunning murals by Thomas Hart Benton. #CelebratewithCeres #BuildingProgress
We were honored to have distinguished journalist and historian Bob Priddy open the night in the House Lounge. He offered an intriguing history of the Ceres statue, which will be taken down for the first time in 94 years for restoration.
