What a wonderful week designing and making fire engines! 🚒 Children in Y2 learnt about the importance of an axle and an axle holder to make wheels turn. Children worked in pairs showing great teamwork and collaboration. @RedscopeSchool @LisaSigsworth
This half term, our art focus has been developing our colour mixing and blending skills using oil pastels. Class 6 have worked hard to apply these skills to draw a dragon eye. Our artwork is looking stunning! 🤩 @RedscopeSchool @LisaSigsworth @MissPreston6
Children continued their learning this afternoon by drawing maps to design a new and improved London. We even had the opportunity to draw portraits of Sir William Petty in our sketch books. @RedscopeSchool
Year 2 had a fantastic visit from Sir William Petty today. We learnt all about The Great Fire of London. The children were fascinated by Sir William’s story and enjoyed finding out more by doing experiments. @RedscopeSchool
