Yesterday, we read the story of ‘The legend of the Three Trees’. It serves as a reminder of the true meaning of Easter, which is the celebration of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Our drawings represent what each tree became at the end of the story. ✝️🌲#ocsbLent

💜Epilepsy Awareness Month💜Our students and staff not only dressed in purple today, but donated $ to receive bubble gum that could be chewed throughout the day. It was amazing to see all the donations! All proceeds will be donated to Epilepsy Ottawa. #EpilepsyAwareness
We shared our learning about the natural forces of nature today. We learned amazing facts about tsunamis, volcanoes, hurricanes and more. Ask your child what cool facts they learned.
We continued persuasive writing today. We brainstormed ideas as a class on why we should have more time outside. We talked about the important parts of a persuasive writing piece, & tomorrow we will create a group persuasive piece together. Check out what we came up with so far.

Today's Gym Challenge: Hula Hoop it Up-Team Building Game. We had so much fun! Great teamwork and practice of skills!
Division Challenge: Today we reviewed our division facts with this fun puzzle activity. 🧩➗The students had to rotate the pieces around and analyze what they could do differently until they fit. Loads of critical thinking came into play! #welovemath #perseverence #growthmindset
