Glad to see the divisions of responsibility are only appropriate when convenient. Talking about red tape, maybe elected officials at the municipal level should take a long hard look in the mirror to see what they can remove to make things more efficient and fiscally responsible.

And as any mayor will tell you, the best way to ensure that federal funds don’t result in anything getting built is to involve the provinces and massively increase red tape.
