As part of an expected renovation the library needed to withdraw almost half of our physical collection. It was a mighty task but we did it. Special thanks to our volunteers and the facilities staff for keeping everything on track!
The poets on campus have been showing up and sharing their work! Come read what's been shared so far and/or submit your own poem to add to the Cleveland State Poets board.
April is National Poetry Month and we want to hear from our own poets on campus. Add your own poetry to our board and read what other Cleveland State poets have written.
March is Women's History Month and we have a display loaded with interesting reads about amazing women. Stop by to see our display and add the name of a woman who has inspired you!
Celebrate Black History this month at the library! We have an African American Author Trivia quiz that can be found at the following link. While you're in the library, look at the leading scores and check out books written by African American authors. forms.gle/GvCFqLxvqyyZE5…
We're back and we want to know how you express your creativity! Do you have an artistic ability? Some interesting skill that you'd like to showcase? Submit your creative endeavors for our "Everyone's So Creative" display this month at the library.
The library team will be working remotely tomorrow/next week and on December 22nd we will be closing entirely to allow our staff to enjoy the holidays. We will open again in the new year (January 2nd) and look forward to seeing you then!
If you are a student who borrowed equipment from the library please remember to return it by the end of the day on Thursday, December 7th. Adjuncts, faculty, and staff will need to return their loaned equipment by the end of the day Thursday, December 14th.

November is Native American Heritage Month and we're celebrating with our display! Stop in daily and you'll see that we're also posting a "Cherokee Word of the Day" to show appreciation for the native culture of the Cleveland area.
Wow! We've had plenty of folks contribute to our interactive display, but there's always room for more. Come into the library and add your own "scariest" movie, show, or book to the board.
It's time of year when things get a little creepy and our display at the library is following suit. We want to know: what book, movie, or show has scared you most? Tell us here or visit and write it on our Creepy Reads Display.
The scores are in and we thank the students who participated in our Hispanic Author Trivia this year! Keep an eye out for more fun at your library during the 2023-2024 school year.
Fall break is a great time to rest a bit, but if you find yourself needing to get some work done the library will be open Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 4:30pm. We'll also have librarians and other library staff available by phone, email, and chat!

Are you intimidated by MLA citations? Fear not! The TLC will be providing a wonderful MLA Workshop on Wednesday the 13th at 1:30pm in L-217.
Almost everyone has one: the assigned book you couldn't stand to read. Our display until September 15th lets you air your grievances. Check out our staff's assigned "stinkers" and add your own on our whiteboard.
